The falling of the breast is a common complaint of women. The main causes are skin loosening due to age, poor skin quality, smoking, multiple breastfeeding and pregnancy, weight, breast size and large weight fluctuations.

How do I know at what falling stage my breasts are?

Breast lift is the right method to correct the falling of the breast and nipple, but also to change its morphology in cases where it is necessary for a woman to regain her confidence and femininity.
The degree of fall of the breast is estimated from the height of the nipple in relation to the subatural fold, that is, the point where the blade of the bra is when looking from the side.

Grade 1: The nipple is at the point of the underlying fold
Grade 2: The nipple is under the fold but higher than the basic
breast volume
Grade 3: The nipple is well below the submaximum and at the same
point as the basic breast volume.

What is Pseudoptosis?

Pseudoptosis refers to the condition that the nipple is located above the fold but the largest volume of the breast under the crease.

What is the surgical technique?

Breast lift technique consists in mobilizing the breast along with the nipple up and removing excess skin. Many times in combination with breast augmentation we can reduce breast volume either by increasing it with fat or silicone prostheses. All this is discussed at the preoperative appointment with the Plastic Surgeon.
The most important question is whether we are satisfied with the volume of our breast in the bra. If the volume is adequate, a simple breast lift satisfies the woman postoperatively, and if the volume falls below the desired level, breast augmentation with implants should be done at the same time as breast augmentation.
It is necessary to check the breast with ultrasound or mammography before the surgery.

Do I need hospitalization?

The procedure is under general anesthesia, while staying in the hospital may not be necessary but in most cases does not exceed one day

When will I return to my job / everyday routine?

Recuperation is short, since the person concerned can return to their daily lives after about 4-10 days, depending on the type of work they are doing. The incisions are discreet and are mainly restricted around the nipple and below it. Breastfeeding in most cases is unaffected. The end result is fully visible after the first year of surgery.
At first the breast is very high and gradually falls naturally. The effect is maintained for about a decade in the case of a simple rectification or reduction. In the case of breast implants, the effect lasts much longer.
